Supporting Schools and Empowering Communities Through School Renovation Project

On November 14, 2024, Balamban EnerZone (BEZ) Corporation proudly turned over the completed Brigada Eskwela Plus 2024 project to C. Pepito Elementary School in Brgy. Luca, Balamban, Cebu.
This project marks Phase 2 of our ongoing commitment to the school, which was also a beneficiary of last year’s Brigada Eskwela Plus initiative. Through these improvements, we aim to provide a safe, vibrant, and conducive learning environment for students and teachers alike.
The project scope includes ceiling replacement and repainting for three classrooms and the school stage, replacement of the roof on the school stage, installation of stainless steel guards at the School Head Office, repainting of school plant boxes and wall replacement and repainting of school comfort rooms.
Balamban EnerZone Corporation Operations Manager, Engr. Reymund C. Villar, highlighted the importance of the project in his remarks, noting that by enhancing school facilities, Balamban EnerZone supports the growth and progress of communities.
"Empowering the evolution of our cities means creating spaces that enable learning and inspire students to reach their potential. With these upgrades, we’re not only building stronger schools but also strengthening our communities for future generations."
Also in attendance were School Head Mrs. Julieta T. Alcosero, Barangay Chairman Hon. Bienvenido B. Maunes, and Chairman on Education Committee Hon. Renato Tribunalo, who joined in celebrating this milestone for C. Pepito Elementary School.
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility as a distribution company, we also conducted an Electrical Safety Orientation Program to help ensure the safety of students, teachers, and the surrounding community.
