New Connection Requirements
Step 1. Comply with the Initial Requirements.
For Residential Accounts:

Formal Request Letter (addressed to Engr. Justin Jay Navarro, AVP for CSG and General Office)

Electrical Plan (signed and sealed by a Professional Electrical Engineer [PEE])

Lease Contract with SBMA or Certification from the Land and Asset Management Department

For Commercial Accounts (Corporation): -

Step 2. Initial Survey
(To be conducted by SEZ’s Distribution Engineer)
Step 3. Hire an Electrician or Licensed Electrical Engineer to prepare the standard metering setup.
(The design for the standard metering setup will be provided by SEZ’s Distribution Engineer.)
Step 4. Secure an Electrical Permit / Endorsement Letter to Energize from the SBMA Building Permit and Safety Department (BPSD).
Step 5. Pay a bill deposit equivalent to one month of your estimated electric bill.
(The computation will be based on the applied load indicated in the customer’s electrical plan.)
Step 6. Sign the Electric Service Agreement.
Step 7. After completing the payment and signing the Electric Service Agreement, the meter installation and line energization will be completed within four (4) working days.
