Subic EnerZone (SEZ) Corporation hosted 87 Electrical Engineering students from Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) for an educational field trip last March 27. This initiative is part of our commitment to fostering industry-academic partnerships and sparking inspiration for the next generation of engineers.

An informative presentation about life at EnerZone was given by Mr. Jeff Figuerrez, Marketing and Communications Supervisor. Engr. Jerry James Villarva, SHES Manager, also presented detailed safety protocols for both inside and outside the facility.

Engineering Supervisor Jonas Macalinao and Systems Operation and Substation Engineer Kim Jerwel De Jesus conducted an instructional tour of the EnerZone facility for students. The itinerary encompassed a detailed exploration of EnerZone's operational procedures, power distribution management strategies, and safety regulations.

In partnership with Subic Bay Tourism, Subic EnerZone maintains a firm dedication to advancing educational development and empowering aspiring engineers. We believe that by providing hands-on, practical learning experiences, we can effectively bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom and the real-world applications relevant in the industry.

These opportunities not only enhance their technical skills but also cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, which are essential for success in Subic EnerZone!
