BISU Students Power Up Their Learning at Mactan EnerZone

109 BISU Electronics Technology students had the opportunity to visit Mactan EnerZone Corporation, for an engaging field trip that bridged their academic knowledge with real-world energy distribution practices last April 30, 2025.
The day began with an informative briefing from Mactan EnerZone engineers, who shared insights into the company’s focus on safety, innovation, and teamwork.
Students were introduced to the company’s cutting-edge substation equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and SCADA systems. The engineers discussed how these components work together to ensure the safe and efficient distribution of electricity.
After the presentations, students toured the substation and transformer areas, gaining a hands-on understanding of energy management. They saw firsthand how modern power systems function to deliver electricity safely to communities.
This experience provided students with practical insights into the energy industry, preparing them for future careers in Electronics Technology and Power Distribution.
