Subic EnerZone (SEZ) Corporation joined hands with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Ecology Center and fellow Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) locators for the Biay Dagat 2026 Subic Bay Coastal Cleanup Drive on September 24.

With the theme “Tapat ko, Linis ko, Pagagandahin ko,” SEZ volunteers mobilized along the Subic Bay Boardwalk area, together with teams from SUBICWATER and various SBMA departments.

Equipped with protective gear, trash tongs, and segregation sacks, the volunteers collected over 86 kilograms of waste consisting mostly of discarded plastics and rubber materials. They also gathered and sorted marine debris to safeguard local ocean habitats and marine life.

"Our participation in this coastal cleanup reflects Subic Enerzone's core values and dedication to sustainable corporate social responsibility," Subic EnerZone Marketing and Communications Supervisor Jeff Figuerrez said. "Along with delivering reliable power to the Freeport, we take pride in protecting our shared ecosystem. Every kilogram of waste removed brings us one step closer to a cleaner, healthier, and carbon-neutral Subic Bay."

SEZ remains steadfast in supporting the environmental initiatives organized by the SBMA Ecology Center as we continue driving positive impact for our community and environment.
