Subic EnerZone Brings Hope to Young Cancer Fighters with a Second Wave of Medical Support

Continuing a committed effort to support vulnerable sectors in the community, Subic EnerZone (SEZ) Corporation has once again partnered with the Subic-Olongapo Cancer Foundation Inc. (SOCFI) through K5 FM News Olongapo to deliver aid to pediatric cancer patients in the region.
Through a donation of ₱10,000, SEZ provided assistance in funding medical care packages to relieve immediate burdens faced by young patients and their families undergoing difficult treatment journeys.
This initiative marks the second consecutive year of SEZ’s partnership with the SOCFI. Having launched an initial ₱10,000 assistance package in 2025, the power provider’s repeat contribution highlights a continuing pledge to stand alongside local health foundations.
"Our commitment to Subic and Olongapo goes beyond distributing power. It’s about showing up for our neighbors when it matters most," Jeff Figuerrez, SEZ Marketing and Communications Supervisor expressed. "Partnering with SOCFI allows us to ensure that support goes directly to young patients who need both care and hope."
The SOCFI has served as a beacon of hope for individuals battling cancer since 2003. By channeling guidance, resources, and community-driven support through established local networks, community-led contributions maximize impact where it is needed most.
As these medical care packages reach young patients across Subic and Olongapo, SEZ, K5 FM News Olongapo, and SOCFI hope this ongoing collaboration encourages more groups to join hands in supporting community healthcare efforts.
