As the Philippines continues to experience rapid growth in the Information Technology (IT) industry, the demand for a reliable and sustainable power supply for EnerZone has never been more important. To address this, EnerZone recently held a strategic meeting with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) to align on the expansion and development plans of Lima EnerZone, Malvar EnerZone, and Central Luzon expansion.
Engr. Alfred Cerezo, Engr. Richard Bulaon, and Engr. Reymund Villar, the project manager, presented the roadmaps and backgrounds of Malvar EnerZone, Lima EnerZone, and Tarlac EneZone, respectively.

Also present during the meeting for EnerZones, Engr. Carlo Layog, Engr. Elmer Agapay, Engr. Ralph Gerald Tingco, Engr. Ruzzelle Lapid, Beejee Dequina (APDU), Dan Leuterio (APDU), Engr. Joonie Valencia, Monica Valencia, and Daniella Lumayad.
One of the key drivers of this expansion is the influx of new locators and industries in Batangas and Tarlac, particularly in the IT and industrial sectors. These developments require a stronger and more resilient energy infrastructure to ensure that businesses can thrive in a safe and stable power environment.
During the meeting, NGCP shared its development roadmap for South Luzon and Central Luzon:
South Luzon: Proposed construction of new 230 kV Substations in Tanauan and Lipa
Central Luzon (Tarlac): Proposed construction of a 230 kV Substation in Capas and San Agustin.
These projects will play a vital role in strengthening the grid and ensuring that EnerZone can deliver efficient, reliable, and future-ready power solutions for its customers.
At EnerZones, we are committed to supporting the growth of communities and industries in Batangas and Tarlac. By working hand-in-hand with NGCP, we aim to power not only homes and businesses but also the future of the Philippine economy.
