As Typhoons Emong and Dante swept through Luzon, their impact was deeply felt in communities across the region—including Barangay Pag-asa in Olongapo City, where torrential rains caused widespread flooding and hardship. Homes were submerged, families were displaced, and many struggled to secure basic needs such as food and water.

In the face of this crisis, Subic EnerZone, in partnership with Aboitiz Foundation Inc., stepped beyond its usual service areas to provide critical relief to those affected. A total of 300 food packs were distributed to the families of Barangay Pag-asa, bringing much-needed sustenance and comfort during a difficult time.

The distribution of aid was personally carried out at the Pag-asa Covered Court, led by Mayor Atty. Rolen C. Paulino Jr., in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), Barangay Affairs Office, Punong Barangay Rod Catologan Jr., Konsehal Rodolfo Catologan Sr., and Konsehal Ying Anonat.

Subic EnerZone extended its assistance beyond its franchise obligations, driven by its core values of compassion, service, and community solidarity. We believe that in times of disaster, help should transcend boundaries, as every act of kindness contributes to rebuilding lives and restoring hope.
