At EnerZones, we remain dedicated to evolving our safety practices and recognizing the leadership of our employees in maintaining a secure, productive, and healthy workplace for all. EnerZone recently held its annual SHES Week on April 27 and 28, a key event aligned with World Safety and Health at Work Day. The initiative was designed to continually reinforce the company's "Standard for Care," ensuring that Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) are core values that are Visible, Felt, and Lived by everyone in the organization.

The two-day event provided a strategic and practical focus on safety standards:

Day 1: Strategy and Internalizing Life-Saving Rules

  • The week began with a presentation outlining EnerZone’s four workstream strategies, establishing a clear safety roadmap.

  • A major component was the launch of the LSR (Life Saving Rules) Café, a collaborative forum. This session successfully clarified the non-negotiable 10 Life Saving Rules, allowing employees to categorize essential "must-have" protocols for a safer workplace.

Day 2: Application, Discussion, and Recognition

Day two of the event focused on in-depth, technical discussions led by the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHES) Team. These sessions covered the Life Saving Rules most relevant to current operations, along with comprehensive Health and Safety briefings.

The event concluded with the presentation of the Q1 SHE Awards, recognizing exceptional employee commitment and leadership in safety culture:

  • Near-miss Reporting Champion: Rolando Bebelone

  • BBS Reporting Champion: Ethel Navarro

  • Safety Champion: Lima Enerzone Team

The event was highlighted by the attendance of Mr. Richard Cruz, AP’s VP for SHES, whose presence underscored the strong leadership support behind EnerZone’s safety initiatives.

The two-day celebration concluded with impactful remarks from Mr. Ryan Griva, AVP for Engineering, and Mr. Jay Navarro, Deputy COO. Their closing messages served as a vital reminder that while rules provide the framework, it is a collective commitment to one another that truly makes safety Visible, Felt, and Lived.

Moving forward, EnerZones remains dedicated to advancing its safety practices and recognizing the essential role every employee plays in maintaining a secure, productive, and healthy workplace.
