EnerZone recently held a crucial Bomb Threat Preparedness Seminar on July 18, led by Mr. Bing Mendezona, Security Consultant of Fortress Arsenal Security Agency. The seminar, successfully conducted by the SHES team, reinforced EnerZone's dedication to workplace security and emergency readiness, with Mr. Mendezona providing expert guidance on responding to explosive threats.
“Ang totoong bomb threat, ‘di na natin malalaman. Mangyayari nalang. But with our seminar, it can help us prevent casualties and learn how to plan ahead,” shared Mr. Mendezona during the session. The seminar discussed the science behind explosions in confined spaces, the behavior of high-velocity explosives, and the types of threats to remain vigilant for.
More importantly, Mr. Mendezona introduced the Bomb Threat Response Plan — a 5-part strategy every team member should understand:
Situation – Assess environment, threat level.
Mission – Objective: protect lives, secure areas.
Execution – Coordinated response and evacuation.
Admin & Logistics – Ready tools, people, backup.
Command & Signal – Organize communications, authority.
