Building a High-Performance Safety Culture: 2-Day BBS Training Successfully Held

Subic EnerZone Corporation and Aboitiz Power Distribution Unit (APDU) successfully hosted a 2-Day Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS) Training for Executives, Managers, and Supervisors on April 28–29.


The program was officially opened by EnerZones President and COO, Dante Pollescas, who delivered his welcome remarks online.





Also present during the training were representatives from Aboitiz Power – Richard Cruz, Christian Flores, and Arianne Shane Abalos, and from APDU – Walter Antonne Sinda and Cherryday Derecho.



Facilitated by Christopher Alexander Roach from Danico Safety, the training focused on five key modules: • Why This and Why Now?


• The Science of Behavior


• Elements of World-Class Safety


• Hazard Recognition and Intervention


• High-Performance Safety Culture





Participants engaged in interactive sessions, group discussions, and role plays. They also developed their own Personal Behavioral Leadership Plans, reinforcing their role in promoting a safer work environment.
