Subic EnerZone (SEZ) Corporation, together with volunteers from Power System Electric Cooperative (PSECO) and Carmel Lights Manpower and Allied Services (CLMAS), successfully participated in the Biay Dagat 2024 Coastal Clean-Up held today at the Triboa Mangrove Site.

A total of 25 volunteers combined their efforts, collecting 148 kilograms (equivalent to 16 sacks!) of trash. Some of the waste collected included cigarette butts, food wrappers, plastic bags, bottles, fishing gear, construction materials, and more.

This initiative, led by the SBMA Ecology Center, saw various companies in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone joining forces to clean up designated areas like Malawaan, San Bernardino, Waterfront, and Triboa.

Thank you to all the volunteers for making this event a success! Together, we can protect and preserve our environment.
